Designing a useful gift teaches children that thoughtful and practical can be the same thing, which is a lesson that takes most adults a while to learn.
- Decorating the wood surfaces gives them fine motor practice on a material that responds differently from paper.
- Picturing what Dad would like before they decide on a design teaches them to think from somebody else’s point of view.
- Personalising either a cheese board, photo frame or coasters and lets them make a creative choice with a clear purpose behind it.
- Handing over a useful, handmade gift builds the kind of confidence that comes from giving something somebody will actually use.
A cheese board for Dad, decorated by your child, ready for the next family table.

About Workshops
From the very beginning, Eeny Meeny was imagined as a place to shop, a place for creativity, and a place to meet. With the shop now open in Monaco, our first workshops are starting to take shape in store, with a growing programme of creative sessions for children. This fits naturally with the live workshop page, which already presents workshops as part of the original concept and says they will happen in the shop itself.
From painting on ceramics and ceramic modelling to painting, flower workshops, jewellery making and more to come, each session is designed to let children create, discover and enjoy time together in a warm and inspiring setting.
Workshops will usually run from 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes and take place right here in the shop. The shop remains open during workshop hours, so parents can browse while the session is taking place. Workshop customers also receive 10% off in store on the day.
New sessions will be added regularly.
